Wine Peeps is an independent wine blog dedicated to helping you get the most bang for your buck in wine. We do this through blind tastings of wine from around the world and calculations of
Quality-to-Price Ratios (QPRs). We have a special interest in
Washington State wines.
In the course of our wine journey, we also enjoy numerous wine-related activities such as traveling throughout wine country, visiting vineyards, reading wine books, and trying wine gadgets, all of which we share with our readers.
This site is for persons of legal drinking age.
Say … what wine do you think goes with Peeps, those sugary Easter treats? I found a photo on the web of someone dunking them in red wine. Ugh!
Do you think Asti Spumante is the best choice?
Happy Easter to the Wine Peeps! Keep up the good work.
Mike
Well darn….somebody beat me to the “Peeps” comment!!
No worries!! Happy Easter and God Bless on the joyous day!!
Mike,
Interesting question. I would probably choose a Moscato d’Asti or maybe a sweet Riesling. We’ll have to explore this pairing one of these days. Happy Easter!
Brian,
Hehehe. Hope you had a wonderful Easter!
Cheers!
Now the only question with the “peeps” wine pairing is should they be stale like some like them or fresh….and will that affect the wine choice! LOL!
Brian,
Hmmm, now that complicates the pairing question. 🙂 I don’t generally like stale anything so I think I’d have to go with fresh. Cheers!
